Program Description
Health For Every Body is taught in four
2-hour sessions.
Session I: Health For Every Body
The series begins with an introduction to a non-diet approach to healthy
living. Learn why diets don't work and how to set realistic goals that
will help keep you motivated as you apply what you learn in the
remaining three sessions.
Session II: Appreciating Yourself and
Others
Learn how to respect yourself, your body, and those of others. Explore
the role of assumptions in building self-image, learn strategies for
gaining greater acceptance of yourself and others, and break the
food-mood connection.
Session III: Eating Well
Learn how to eat nutritiously without restrictive food plans or diets.
Increase your awareness of physical hunger and fullness, and learn ways
to practice conscious, healthful eating.
Session IV: Active Living
Make physical activity a part of your daily life. Move away from
militant exercise, get active, and feel the difference.
