Photovoltaics + Wind Power = Hybrid Home Energy Systems
 

Program Description:

Advances in technology have produced reliable, home-sized wind and photovoltaic systems. This workshop will summarize how these systems work, their installation and operating costs, and methods of integrating them into home electrical systems. Breakout sessions will address specific questions of homeowners. Homeowners are encouraged to bring their house plans and current energy bills to better design their alternative energy system.
 

Target Audience:

Homeowners interested offsetting the energy needed to run their home with environmentally-friendly energy systems.
 

Outcomes/Anticipated Outcomes:

Homeowners will gain knowledge of alternative energy systems possible for Missouri and how to design one for their own home.
