Grandparents Raising Grandchildren

Due to various social and economic trends, more grandparents are raising their grandchildren than ever before. This workshop focuses on the needs of grandparents who function in a parental role and provides information about some of the resources available to them. Participants will:

• Explore a number of self-care strategies.
• Investigate the availability of support systems.
• Discuss legal and financial resources.
• Evaluate optimal ways to nurture and guide grandchildren.
