Are the majority of old people bored?
No. Older persons are involved in many and diverse
activities. After retirement many participate as volunteers
in churches, schools or other nonprofit organizations and
report themselves to be "very busy." As they age most
persons are likely to continue the level of activity to
which they were accustomed in middle age.
