How can I get an idea of what my trade-in car is worth before dealing with the dealership?
You can get an estimate of what your car is worth by looking up your car in the Kelly Blue Book, which can be found at most financial institutions, libraries and on-line at www.kbb.com. You might also call local dealers in your area and find out how much they are asking for cars like yours.
