How do I choose a long distance carrier?
According to the Federal Trade Commission, the following are
items to consider when choosing a long distance phone
carrier:
- Price (monthly fees, minimum charges, climbing
rates)
- Restrictions (time, geographic and promotional
restrictions)
- Comparisons to other carriers (are services really
comparable between carriers?)
- Fine print (always read it!)
Check your bill each month for fees or charges added
by mistake.
