We all want to feel a sense of satisfaction from the work that we do, regardless of the type of job that it may be. A benchmark of successful employment is job satisfaction. Individuals with developmental disabilities who desire to work competitively need to have the opportunity to explore such work options.
The Missouri Department of Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities website has a list of state and local agencies that can play a role in enhancing employment outcomes for persons with disabilities: http://www.dmh.missouri.gov/mrdd/employteam/partners.htm
