Quick Answers


Our 24 year old adult son works at our county sheltered workshop, but he is not very happy there. However, in our rural community there really are not many other places where he can work. Do you have any suggestions?

We all want to feel a sense of satisfaction from the work that we do, regardless of the type of job that it may be. A benchmark of successful employment is job satisfaction. Individuals with developmental disabilities who desire to work competitively need to have the opportunity to explore such work options.
