What kinds of behavior changes can parents, teachers, and caregivers expect to see during the time around a separation or divorce?

Parents need to remember that divorce is stressful for their children, just as it is for the parents. In the short-term-perhaps for several months or even a couple of years-children may act in ways that are irritating and sometimes disruptive. This behavior is understandable in view of the changes taking place.
