Is it alright to can smoked fish?

Directions for canning smoked salmon, rockfish and flatfish (sole, cod, flounder) and other fish are listed in the "Complete Guide to Home Canning," Ag Information Bulletin No. 539, which is available on the National Center for Home Food Preservation website. 


CAUTION: Safe processing times for other smoked seafoods have not been determined. Freeze these products.
