How do you can apple cider?

Use directions for apple juice in GH 1455, "Fruitful Canning". Apple cider can also be frozen for better flavor retention. CAUTION: Never use windfall apples. The chance of spoilage when using imperfect or partially rotten fruit is much greater due to their heavier microbial load.
