Quick Answers

Can cottage cheese be frozen?

Creamed cottage cheese separates and becomes mushy when thawed and should not be frozen. Uncreamed cottage cheese (dry curd) may be frozen in its original container for 3 weeks. Thaw it in the refrigerator.
