Quick Answers

What are moisture-vapor-proof materials and moisture-vapor-resistant materials?

Rigid plastic containers, heavy-duty aluminum foil and glass jars are moisture-vapor-proof. Examples of moisture-vapor-resistant materials include most bags, wrapping materials and waxed cartons made especially for freezing. Check the package to make sure the material is made for freezer use.
