Quick Answers

What are "rigid" and "non-rigid" containers which are used for freezing?

Rigid containers hold their shape and stand upright. They are suitable for all food except those with irregular shapes, like a whole chicken. Non-rigid containers are moisture-vapor-resistant bags and sheet materials. They may be used for dry pack fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry, fish, and sometimes liquid.
