How can I preserve all the extra pawpaws I have?
Freezing is the best method. Press the pulp through a colander or sieve and pack in moisture-vapor-proof freezer containers in amounts needed for recipes. An antioxidant such as Fruit Fresh (TM) can be used if desired to preserve color. Do not attempt to can pawpaws as there are no scientifically-based processing times established.
