Quick Answers

How long should dried fruits and vegetables be stored?

Foods stored at temperatures below 60 degrees F. will keep about one year if packaged correctly. At 80-90 degrees F. food begins to deteriorate within several months. For every 18 degree F. drop in temperature, the shelf life of fruits increases 3 to 4 times.
