Quick Answers

Can I use sweeteners like brown sugar, sorghum, or molasses in jellies or jams?

Sweeteners such as brown sugar, sorghum, and molasses are not recommended for use in jellies, jams, marmalades, or preserves. Their flavor would overpower the fruit flavor and their sweetness varies.
