What kind of utensils should I heat pickling liquids in?

For heating pickling liquids, use utensils of unchipped enamelware, stainless steel, aluminum, or glass. Do not use copper, brass, galvanized (zinc), or iron utensils. Note: Do not store pickling liquid in stainless steel or aluminum utensils. Pitting will occur.
