Quick Answers

Is it alright to pickle "acid-free, burpless" cucumbers?

Burpless cucumbers may be used for pickling. They absorb flavor well. However, they do not remain crisp during the pickling process. Burpless cucumbers are best used in relishes or in sauces where cucumbers are cut into chunks.
