Set the jar of honey in a pan of warm-not hot-water until the crystals melt. A microwave oven can also be used; see individual manufacturer's directions. To prevent crystals from forming, store honey in a tightly-covered container in a dark, dry place at room temperature. Freezing or refrigerating honey will hasten crystal formation.
