Quick Answers

Why does my urine have a strange smell after I eat asparagus?

Asparagus contains a sulphur compound that, in some people at least, is converted into another kind of sulphurous compound in the digestive tract. It's this by-product that you smell. The process, and the substance, is harmless. The smell will vanish within a few hours.
