I'm having problems baking bread. Why does the baked loaf crumbles easily?

If your bread crumbles easily, it may be because of the following reasons:

  • dough not well mixed;
  • too little kneading;
  • too much flour added;
  • rising place too warm;
  • dough allowed to rise too long; or
  • oven temperature too low.
