Technical Information on the Data and Sources of Data Used to Develop the Report on the State of Missouri Families--2003

The data presented in the “Report on the State of Missouri Families” was developed from state and federal governmental sources that are routinely gathered.   In most cases they were obtained directly from governmental reports, but in a few cases they were obtained from secondary sources that work with governmental agencies such as the Office of Social and Economic Data Analysis (OSEDA) at the University of Missouri. 

In all cases any errors are due to the author of this report and not due to the governmental agencies or other sources. Below you will find references to the direct sources of information.  In most cases, we have attempted to identify the exact table or page of the information, but in a few cases this was not possible.
