Regular physical activity is associated with many health benefits, yet any change of activity may increase the risk of injury.

  • The first step before increasing your level of physical activity is to complete the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q).  This questionnaire will help you determine if you should seek guidance from your physician before increasing your physical activity level.

  • If you honestly answered “no” to all the PAR-Q questions, you can be reasonably positive that you can safely participate in the Stay Strong, Stay Healthy program.  Or if you answered “yes” to the questionnaire and received written consent from your doctor to participate in Stay Strong, Stay Healthy, then you are ready to get started.
